Experience & Knowledge in Texas Parole Representation
I, Paul A. Hampel, have seen clients in person at Texas jails and TDCJ facilities for 30 years (except during a Covid lockdown period). Those discussions have given me knowledge and understanding of the Texas prison system and its history that few know. It shapes my advice and understanding of each client I visit face to face at prisons and jails today. It makes my advice informed and it guides interviews and thoughts in client discussions. I know clients and facilities are very different. Only experience allows for good advice within this complex prison system. I know channels of communication that bring results in efficient ways.
Every parole case requires me to know both my client and the Parole Board's approach to evaluating parole cases. Experience has allowed me to see the Texas Parole Board develop and evolve over the years. By understanding Texas parole's factors I can prioritize information and evaluate the importance of the information, positive and negative in each client's case. The rumor's and distractions are easily avoided with experience. My client communication targets content development and focuses on the topics most likely to be in the parole discussion. The goal of my approach is to save client's prison time. My experience is a key factor in that goal.
